JANIS RESLER

A redesign of the cover art for the classic Jane Austen novel, Persuasion. I chose to focus on a key element of the plot, a love letter written by one of the main characters. To keep my design styled around a letter written in the 1800's, I created a digital painting of a feather quill and set it against a parchment paper background. A script typeface was used for the title and the intricacy of the script was counterbalanced with a simple sans serif for the author name and descriptive text.​
