Book cover art design for the novel, Make Me by Lee Child. As a part of the Jack Reacher series, the cover needed to appeal to both new readers and committed Jack Reacher fans. I used imagery that a steep contrast between lights and shadows to bring in a feeling of intrigue and danger. This two part cover features an outer leaf in matte black which features only the title and author name. The title is die cut, and through the letters, the reader is able to see the challenging glare from the main character's gaze. The inner leaf features a dark image of a decaying country vista.
